Accessories or Plushies...? I'd say accessory, 'cause it's a case, i.e. bag, that just happens to look like an animal, and it's not stuffed like a plushy. Right?

Anyway, crochet cat case (shush, I'm on an alliteration streak ;P ) I quickly made for my PDA ('cause the original case started leaving gluey streaks on my screen :paranoid: ). The idea of the kitty isn't mine; as I was surfing Flickr for case ideas (and mostly found iPod cases), I came across this cute widdle knitted iPod case. :aww: So I had to have one too.

The tail's also a wrist strap as an extra precaution when I'm holding it, and there's lining inside of soft leopard "fur" so my screen (alright, screen protector) won't get scratched. :nod:

It's not tied, just ... erm, uh, the longer loop goes through the smaller loop so the opening is closed. And since it's hung upside down and my wrist goes through the longer loop, the opening is always closed. ^^; Get what I mean?

Nope, sorry, I just made it up. ;P I'm not that familiar with knitting either (I've made one wrist strap from a tutorial, that's it ^^; ), just crochet. Basically you make a little flat bag, and separate ears which you sew on later, add the face and lining if you want, and that's it. :D

I think with knitting you'll get it to become stretchier, more like a cosy, so it's okay to make it smaller too. Good luck!
