Kind of a walkthrough of [link] . I used PVA glue to glue some of the pieces before sewing on top of them, but I would advise to use proper fabric glue or something else instead. 
'Cause PVA glue dries hard and that doesn't make sewing any easier. 
Tinting with markers was an accident-ish thing, but it worked pretty well. Just don't wash the wallet (I don't think felt should be washed in the first place, right?) or things might get ugly.
